Canon 9120 Printer Waste Ink Tank Reset
1. Begin by turning off the Canon 9120 printer and unplugging the power cord from the back of the printer.
2. Locate and remove the cover from the rear of the printer. This cover is typically secured with a single screw.
3. Inside the back of the printer, there should be a black ink tank. Locate and remove the ink tank from the unit.
4. Now locate the waste ink tank. This is a small black plastic container with a clear plastic lid.
5. Remove the lid from the container and locate the reset button. This is a small plastic button that should be depressed with a pen or paperclip.
6. Once the reset button has been depressed, replace the ink tank and the cover to the rear of the printer.
7. Plug in the power cord to the back of the printer and turn the machine back on. The printer is now ready to use.
8. If the error message still appears or the printer continues to report low ink, repeat the process once more as described above.
After following these steps, your Canon 9120 printer should be able to resume normal operation. If the error message still persists or if the printer continues to report low ink levels, contact your printer manufacturer for further assistance.
