Canon Printer Reset Software Universal Board 700 bytes
I. Power on the printer
1.Turn off the printer and disconnect its power cord from the power outlet.
2.Press and hold the Maintenance button (the triangle shaped button that appears in the center of the control panel) for at least 5 seconds.
3.The printer will power on and enter diagnostic mode.
II. Access the software
1.Connect the printer to a computer using the USB cable.
2.Download the Canon Printer Reset Software from the manufacturer’s website.
3.Install the software on your computer.
4.Launch the software and select the Printer Reset Universal Board option.
5.Enter the 700 byte code into the software.
III. Resetting the printer
1.Select the Execute option in the software.
2.The printer will now reset to its default settings.
3.Turn off the printer and disconnect it from the computer.
4.Reconnect the printer to the power outlet and power it on.
IV. Testing the printer
1.Connect the printer to a computer using the USB cable.
2.Print a test page to ensure the printer is functioning properly.
3.Disconnect the printer from the computer and power it off.
4.Reconnect the power cord to the power outlet and power it on.
5.Verify that the printer has reset to its default settings.
