EPSON800 Ink Cartridge Clearing Procedure
1. Make sure the printer is unplugged and switched off before taking out the ink cartridge.
2. Lift the top cover of the printer and then remove the old ink cartridge.
3. Install a new ink cartridge.
4. Take a piece of A4 paper, fold it in half twice and place it into the paper tray.
5. Plug in the printer and turn it on.
6. Select “Settings” from the printer’s control panel.
7. Select “Ink Cartridge Settings”.
8. Select “Clear Ink Cartridges”.
9. Follow the instructions on the screen to clear the ink cartridges.
10. Once completed, unplug the printer, switch it off and lift the top cover.
11. Remove the new ink cartridge and place it carefully in a safe area.
12. Plug the printer back in, switch it on and reinstall the new ink cartridge.
13. Print a test page to make sure the clearing procedure was successful.
