Canon G series inkjet printers generate about 700 words of waste ink for each print job. This can add up over time, and it’s important to keep the waste ink tray in your printer clean to ensure it doesn’t overflow. To do this, simply open up the back of the printer, find the waste ink tray, and empty it. It’s important to note that the waste ink tray should only be emptied when the printer is powered OFF, and you should wear gloves when handling the waste ink to avoid any kind of contamination.
